Post by: TrekMD on September 07, 2013, 18:59:10 PM
Casino and card games have always attracted a lot of people.  Don't believe me?  Go to Las Vegas and take a look.  But how about casino and card video games?  Well, they've been around for some time and they have also evolved.  Why don't we take a look.  Let's start with some games for the...

I remember having Blackjack for the 2600. Funny it was an accepted game in my house. Poker was frowned upon.

Slot machine could use an update.  I'm sure someone now could create a much nicer looking game for the 2600.  :)
So, Blackjack was ok but not Poker?  I don't understand the thinking behind that decision, ice!

In biblical times wine was okay but not in excess. Blackjack is like wine and poker is like hard liquor, it can be consumed in excess.

Yeah. Nothing exciting. The 1970's were a different time. Most cards games led to gambling and was mostly frowned upon in my household.

I am interested to see the path of these games and wonder if the names of the products were changed. Blackjack was okay but we new better then to call it 21.
