Alright, here is another great arcade classic and comparisons of various home versions of the game - let's compare QIX!

I am an absolutely massive Qix fan, I bought the Lynx version when it first game out many years ago and love it to bits. It actually wasn't the arcade version I had played first though, it was this clone for the BBC Micro that a friend of mine had:

That looks pretty good!

Yeah it is, brilliant conversion of the game. I used to go round his house just to play itÂ
[align=center:21jj6bit]The sequel to Qix is Volfied, which is also known as Ultimate Qix - here are a couple of the home conversions:

Very cool. Haven't played any of these versions.

You are really missing out, one of the finest games ever made. I seriously suggest emulating the arcade game or one of the home versions. You can play the PC version via DOS box too.

I'll look for it!Â
The Amiga version of Volifed was brilliant.
Love Qix - returned to this again and again - very hard though.
Lighfish on XBLA is a good version.
Alien Blockade for the Atari ST is another great Qix clone:
