Title: Hyperkin Retron 3 HD Review
Post by: TrekMD on February 28, 2020, 21:25:41 PM
Hyperkin just released the Retron 3 HD. Their 3 in 1 HDMI retro clone console. It has compatibility for NES, SNES & Sega Genesis. With NTSC & PAL region selection, 4:3/16:9 aspect ratio switch, and controller ports for each console. Anyone getting this?  it's supposed to perform better than the Retron N5 as it does not use emulation.

Don't think I'll be getting one but it is interesting that it doesn't use emulation.

Sound is out but it's a decent compromise.

I already have a Retron N5 and it works quite fine.  I don't really need this but for folks who may want a console to play the three different consoles in one, this looks like a good alternative.

Looks ok, not something I would rush out and pick up though.
