The guys from Video61 are working on a new game for the Atari 7800: Venture! Yes, an appropriate arcade port is being created for the system! Their intention is to create a port that is better than the existing ports for any home console or computer from yesteryear! This is supposed to even out do their 5200/8-Bit version (which is already excellent). The game may even expand a bit from the arcade version. Here is a WIP video of the game.

As I was watching my thought was were is the challenge? By the end of the video all my questions were answered. Very impressive so far.
