I think everyone knows about the mini NES, but it's not the only plug and play console being released this fall.

There's a good article here (http://www.usgamer.net/articles/retro-bits-generations-console-looks-a-leap-beyond-the-classic-mini-nes-2) that has a lot of info if anyone wants to know more.
The funny thing about this is that I learned about it from an email from Retro Magazine and Mike Kennedy. Apparently he's not scrapping the magazine and his online store is now an official retailer for Retro-Bit. If anyone wants to pre-order the console from him, you can do so here (http://shopreadretro.com/collections/retro-gaming/products/retro-bit-generations-video-game-system-retro-games-built-in-plug-n-play?variant=21998284036). I'm sure it will be available other places too if for some reason people would rather not order it from him ;)
Well, that sure is cool. I like the look of the console and that is one big library of games!
Yes, it's a lot of games! Mostly arcade games too which is cool.
Sure is! This may be a better buy than the Mini NES.
Does look cheaply made though which is never a good thing.

Knights of the Round & Captain Commando. Cool!
I do agree the physical hardware design does look a bit cheap and naff though, lol.
Composite output caters for CRT advocates like myself :^]
It's cool that it has both outputs. I can play on my CRT or either of my HDTV's. :) Haven't seen these around yet, though.
For the price it doesn't sound terrible, but it does seem kinda cheap and the emulation obviously isn't perfect.
Here's a video with all the games being tested...
