It's time to share this project here. Atari Age member SainT has been working on a new SD Card Cartridge for the Atari Lynx and he has made pretty significant progress. Below is a video of the cart in action where you can see the menu that appears on start up where you select the LNX file you want to play. The games load into flash memory and then play just as if you had a regular cart. Have a look below...looking forward to this!

OMG what a development this is..
Huge news...
Sounds great, hope I can get one at some point in time.
I'll keep an eye on it and let everyone know when these are available.Â
Great stuff Trek
It has been a while since an update was posted but I had to add this one...
This is the first version of the cartridge case, white with green PCB. The production ones will be black and black. Gives you an idea of the finished unit though.

Just awesome work. A must own if it's sold at a good price.
Yes, it is a must own for all Lynx owners. No price has been mentioned yet but I'm sure that will be mentioned soon given the progress to date.
Any hint of the cost yet? we talking sub £50/$90?
Nothing yet.
Shame, more soon I guess.
Price has been announced at £60-70.
That's actually not to bad.. I reckon I will be in for one of them.
If anyone is interested in these, production is getting close to getting started.
Awesome..
