[size=140]Little Dragon 2 for the ZX Spectrum has been released online for free by homebrew developer Gabriele Amore. The game was created using the Arcade Game Designer software. In Little Dragon 2, the player takes control of a heroic dragon who must the stolen fire stones and dragon babies from an evil king. The game has been released in .TAP format so the game can be played on real hardware or emulation.[/size]

Ive got a 48k Speccy, but lack the space ATM to have it set up.
If I did, how would this get onto the machine? I have a tape deck for it but what is the .tap format?

My understanding is that you need a DivIDE adapter.

You might like to try this http://store.retroleum.co.uk/spectrum-peripherals (//http) for £24 which will load tap files directly to Spectrum from a SD card and also has a Spectrum diagnostic functionality which can help with Spectrum repairs.
