I love StarBlade, it's short but oh so sweet! Great videoÂ
The Parker Brother's version of Frogger is a pretty good port but my preferred version on the 2600 is the Starpath version. That one kicks ass.Â

 Cool videos, btw.Â
Great stuff fella. Really enjoy the style of videos your putting out.

That is really nifty! I missed that thread in AA, so I'll be sending him a PM to get a set!Â
That is very clever and like you say, why it never shipped like that already is beyond me. Props to the guy that made it.

Nice videos! Starmaster is a fun game but my most favorite game of the type on the 2600 is Starpath's Phaser Patrol.Â
Yep, mine to, did a vid a long time ago on it

I've always loved The Official Frogger. It is an awesome version of the game and it beats even more advanced systems in gameplay. Starpath really did a superb job with it.

I have actually been thinking of getting one of those clones. They are not cheap to find either, I must say. Is that diagnostic cart you used something that comes with the Masterplay clone? BTW, pretty cool that you're using a Genesis controller and not even a 2600 joystick!

Frogger! That song is funny. Go froggie, go!Â

Of all the versions on that video, the Supercharger version for the 2600 trumps them all for me.Â
http://youtu.be/w2Kztlj-i1o (http://youtu.be/w2Kztlj-i1o)
Tep really did an fantastic job with Pac-Man Arcade for the 5200. The original version is really well done but he created a version that is much closer to the arcade. Even the ghost logic was written to match the arcade version.Â
Have a old 5200 controller that has bad pots? Lets make a paddle controller!

That looks like a nifty item but the execution seems to fall short.Â
Does the sound stutter the performance on everything or just Ms.Pacman? I think it looks like fun, but how much is it to download games? Will ordinary Java games work or does it have to be made for this system? Will other, flash based games work? I have a lot of those SWF arcade games that would probably be fun. So, it comes with the screen and some art to upgrade the look and a few games. Then you go online and download from their site, right?
it stutters on everything. not to impressed with it.
Another favorite arcade game of mine from the early 80's!

I have chosen to remain silent on this subject. I already have been getting trolled quite a bit for supporting the system and my bud SocalMike. Maybe sometime in the future when its all over and past I may talk about it once the witch hunters have calmed down
Sounds like a good idea to avoid the pitchforks for the moment. Even if Halloween is getting closer.Â
Yeah I know how you feel, I have hardly followed the bad side of this. I have my own opinions which you can read here. I hope they are not seen as witch hunting. I don't understand why some people over react to this stuff.

I never go to play this game in the sitting cabinet version. The arcades where I lived only had the stand up versions. Needless to say, I enjoyed this because it was a cool vector game and because it was Star Trek.Â

Another nice video. Interesting about those modular arcade units. As to the game, Chicken Shift, I don't think I had ever heard of it before. That does look like it can get quite frantic! I like the variety in the game and I guess it answers the question of what came first, the chicken or the egg? LOL Cool on the mobile versions too. This game does translate OK for touch screens because of how the controls work.
Thanks for including the RVG logo!Â

Sorry for not being more interactive in the forums. I will stop posting vids here and appreciate everyone that viewed them :). I have several forums I am part of and limited time, so will cut back on where I post vids. If I do decide to post a video here, I will first find something to discuss or respond to in another sub forum before I post a video. So the only time I post a video will be after I contribute to the forum. I am sorry if I ruffled some feathers by not interacting very much, I was asked to come on here, I did not join just to post vids.
Regards,
I don't mind videos being posted if they prompt a discussion. Any comment I have made has apparently fallen on deaf ears. I see no value in posting any video clip if there is little to no response. Most of us have YT subscriptions after all.
That is common practice in many forums. It's a nonissue there and it is a nonissue here as well.
I enjoy your posts and videos. Please continue :)

Agreed.
@Willie! feel free to continue posting your videos like you do on the other forums I know you visit.
For the record - my feathers weren't ruffled. :)
But it would be better if a video kicked off a conversation. Otherwise the forum turns into a signpost.
Thank you for that mate, my message to you was not intended to cause issues and please continue to post as you do, just more activity on the forum from you and many others will help breathe life in to this place.

Sorry about that, I am very bad at responding, even on my own video comments :P. But none the less, I will not post any more vids. I am considering not posting to any forums at all now, just to my Twitter and Facebook pages.
For those that enjoyed my postings and would like to still follow along. I will be posting on the Arcade USA Facebook page, Twitter and in the the community tab for Arcade USA on the YouTube channel. I do have a live stream coming up this weekend (Saturday May 15th at 4pm Eastern) for those that may be interested.
Thanks again to all that supported the show here and again I am sorry I did not interact as much as I should :(.
Looking forward to the live stream, Willie.

I'm pretty sure I have watched some of your content on YT. I probably even subbed at one point but I recently un-subbed from practically everything as I was getting snowed under with notifications!!! I certainly remember enjoying your content at any rate. Your old hardware overviews are very good. (e.g. Stunt Cycle)
I love my stunt cycle console :) one of my favorites in my collection that I frequently still play.
I would love one, just never seen one for sale over here.

I have two CIB, the ATari one and the Sear Motocross one :) Had a loose third one I repaired but gave that one to a friend :)
It was a shame the game for the Atari 2600 was never released. It was all ready to go and then it got mired in development hell after management wanted it changed into a Dukes of Hazzard game but they messed about so long it was abandoned. :(
I really like the look of the old classic Atari dedicated consoles. There were a lot of Pong consoles with different modes but there's the Stunt Cycle one and a Video Pinball console with Breakout on the machine too.
The Pong consoles on sale here were all copies made by different companies - but I never saw the Atari ones.

Wow, Intellidiscs for the Atari 5200 is awesome! This is just a pic from my video, not posting the vid here 😛. Cant wait for a physical release of this!
That game does look and sound fantastic!
