Looks like an awesome event, wish I could go, shame they don't have stuff like this were I live.. :).
I would like to attend it if i can tie something else in with the journey otherwise its a bit far for me.
I'll be there.
Hunting for a new Amiga 1200 as mine is knackered, plus some miggy goodies.
Rockrobilia are a good store for 8bit computer stuff.
I went to the first one last year and the room they had was way too small, so really looking forward to going this year with them having more space.
Get us some images guys and get yourselves some RVG t-shirts lol.Â
I'm going, taking loads of cash to waste. Keeping an eye out for MD, MS, Game Gear and Xbox stuff but one thing I might pick up is an Amiga 1200 plus HD. Was told they had some on show last year.

Not if I buy it first lol
I'll pay £50-75 depending on the condition of it if that helps you at all with what to pay, just after a machine on its own as I have loads of other stuff for Amiga just need a 100% working machine.
Quite fancy picking up an ancient pong machine or similar, will see what they have on offer. Another computer would also go down well again depends whats there.
Orher than that, not sure, just a general nosy around.
I'd be expecting around £150 if it as a CF HD and stuff install. Seems to be the going rate on eBay

I'm desperate for one just to play the Adventures of Robin Hood again.
£150 is overpriced, CFs are £20 and installed yourself very easy - I got a PCMCIA reader and a second CF card for easy transfer from PC to Amiga.

Good example, £90 buy it now with minimal yellowing.
I'm going but anything I buy is late in the day as (a) I CBA carrying all day and (b) get a better price!
Yeah I've done a few myself over the years but that's what they seem to go for on there. I was looking at one the other day where the loon had put a BIN of £250!
Can't wait for this never been to anything like it before. Even dragging a mate with me just to help carry stuff!
Rucksack and a pillow case is my idea lol I'm driving this year and that will make it easier.
Really want an Amstrad CPC 464 but will take any old 8 bit computer, just something to muck about on.
I really want MS stuff but want to try and behave myself and spread it all out. Don't want to end up going over board on crappy games I'll hardly play.
Make sure you both getting a pic together if you can and lets see the mystery men behind the masks lol.
And make sure to get plenty of picture for RvG recognisance purposes tooÂ
There ain't going to be time for any of that. It's a retro sale, it'll be a blood bathÂ
Stick a webcam on your head and video the whole thing , hands free

I'm sure you'll take a break from the bone crushing and standing on people hands getting those carts lol.
I'm all set and ready to go!

Oh I'm notoriously shy but I'll grab some pics of the event......
2 sleeps to go now guys!!
Spread the RVG name guys.
Its actually going to be more of a flying visit now as there is a pub crawl in the afternoon 8)
A what? Been reading a lot about the old Acorn machines and I do fancy a A3xxxx series machine, A30010 I think is the home version so we'll see what they have.
Not blowing the budget, most of these machines are 20+ years old so I cazn wait a while longer if I dont see what I want at a goo dpriceÂ
Good luck fella, who you going drinking with?

Oh no one game related, my best bud and his bro + pals. Doing "The Otley Run" or at least as much as we can lol
Ah well have a good one, say hello to Dan at the Retro Towers stall..
Busy as fook and slim pickings for computers. Lots of software but short on hardware.
Lots of silly prices also, £130 for a Spectrum +2 lololol
Result! Got an Amstrad CPC 464 and a bunch of games, £50 which I felt was fair.
Comes with a TV modulator so no need for the Monitor.
No time to play today but it works and will try tomorrow.
And that is Tolkien, apparently its the complete world of middle earth (in 64k!) no less!

I'm back! Didn't buy any consoles and spent around £150, mostly on Xbox and MS titles. A few rares and gunstarheroes who had a stall gave me a couple of Xbox games. I'll post pictures later as I'm cleaning all the carts but pretty good day all round, glad I went.
Cleaning carts lol
Glad you like it, loads of console stuff but I need a computer focussed one I think.
I was a bit pissed off with one seller, can't remember who it was but off in a corner somewhere. He'd stuck labels under the plastic to the bottom right of the SMS cases right onto the original covers. They looked like cheap ones that would rip and knacker it, I really wanted a couple of the games at £15 as well but I wasn't paying for that there's just no excuse for it, they should know better.
Glad you both picked some stuff up, look forward to seeing more pics soon.
My haul from VGM2 yesterday. It was a lot of fun but have to say some vendors over priced some stuff crazily, £25 for Pokemon Emerald on GBA, cart only. But I'm happy, finally got to start my NES collection [emoji16]
Yeah there was a few like that but plenty who were the opposite!
thanks for coming everyone, was crazily busy, hopefully we addressed all of the issues of the first event. There were some mega bargains to be found too (i ended up buying someones entire stall near the end). See y'all for the next one

Putting the stalls down the corridoors was a poor idea, I was expecting stalls in the basement (as last year) and in the main hall to increase capacity rather than just cramming them down the sides.
That said I will be there next year, thanks.

Problem with that as with last year was the large amounts of heat and it being too packed. At last this way it was more spread out and you could view everything you wanted.
we had to remove the basement room this time at a late stage due to things out of our control, but i think it worked better, it was a pretty horrible room to be honest :-)
I'll just disagree. Did two runs around the corridors and unless you were willing to elbow your way in, you could not see the stalls.
