That looks great, Laird!  I had to give up trying to store boxes at home, so I have all the carts in plastic bins and the boxes are in their own plastic bins in my storage room (which has A/C to keep the humidity at bay).

Wow! Looks great and everything's accessible.

I've got a couple of bookshelves for current gen, but I keep most of my older games stashed away. Some are in plastic storage bins like TrekMD... others are stashed all over the house. My liquor cabinet is filled with 7800 games. :D

I didn't no, because of who was selling it - I doubt he would have even sold me one!

Hey Laird, you mentioned ordering some boxes for your Jag games and I thought I saw another post somewhere about the white cartridge inserts too. Did you order these from B & C ? The reason I ask is I tried to do the same thing last week as I have a bunch of loose Jag games too.  The problem is my email to order the stuff kept coming back as undeliverable.  How did you order yours? Or if it wasn't from them who did you order them from?

Yes I got them from B&C but didn't bother with their website as its shocking. I contacted Bruce through eBay as I saw the same items listed there and he did me a nice deal (he has some reviews of mine on his site so he owed me one).

HERE (//http) is a link to the My Atari store on eBay for you!  8)

Not as such but there are reviews for it and plenty about it in the computers section.

Can always read the Wikipedia page (//http)

I think the last one I sold went for about 40 or 50 pounds. I will probably stick these 2 spare ones on eBay soon.

Doesn't sound bad.  I just posted several duplicate games on ebay myself.

There actually is you just can't see it in the photo really, there are cradles at the sides of the unit. I wanted them all out for effect  8)

Seeing both Speccys together like that made me reflect on the drastically different design philosophies of Sinclair and Amstrad.

Each had their pros and cons of course but to have the beautiful, small, sleek and minimalist design of Sinclair's with an extra bit of RAM and a disk drive added to end up so huge as an Amstad CPC was monstrous! Yes, I know Amstrad's Speccys had some additional ports but even so! :o

The rubber keyed Speccy may have been the most iconic design but for me Sinclair's 128k + was the ultimate Speccy overall when considering both form and function. Perhaps I'd have looked on the +3 more favourably if Amstrad had have used a normal 3.5" disk drive rather than the 'thing' from the CPC6128 with its godawful and more expensive diskettes. Yuck!

nicely done, it was taking shape when I was there on Saturday but looks like its all finished and looking AWESOME!! This is my dream for a loft or basement when I get a proper house, having everything in my two bed flat and living with the wife makes it a bit difficult. All my games are in boxes. When I get my loft conversion I will have EVERYTHING on display and at least two TVs, one LCD for PS2, Dreamcast, Xbox original and one CRT for the older systems. CAN'T wait!!

But for now I'm happy to envy yours lol
