Title: The Genre-defining Video Games We Forgot
Post by: Ben on July 15, 2014, 12:23:49 PM
I just ran across this video, thought others might appreciate it as well.
QuoteA 50-minute documentary about five games that defined their genres, and then were forgotten because they were superseded by more successful, more marketable, and more mainstream clones.

I just finished watching this.  This was a fascinating video, particularly the part where is looking for the earliest video game!  He went all the way back to 1947!  Loved that the PDP-1 was considered a "micro" computer and filled an entire room.Â
