Title: N64 RGB For All Mod Problem
Post by: guest5201 on May 15, 2014, 16:07:36 PM
Hi Guys

I've just bought an N64 RGB mod from here:

http://www.otakus-store.net/en/content/23-n64-rgb-for-all-kit (//http)

I bought the kit (mod plus scart) from them. I've installed it just fine and tested all the connections.

Even though there is a picture on my tv it is virtually all purple!  :40:

Has anyone any advice on a possible solution?

Thanks...

Thanks for the info. I'll have a read, in the meantime I've contacted the supplier as the result is the same on all the TV's in our house. :106:

No worries, hope you get it sorted either way.

Bit of an update. Seems there is no Green output being made. Disconnecting the G of the mods RGB wires has no effect. I'll continue to look into it.

Just to let you all know I got to the bottom of the problem. Basically the new RGB scart that was supplied with the kit was bad. After a few tests and receiving the new scart all is well. The suppliers were very helpful I have to say.
