Waimanu is a fantastic new game for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance and DS by Disjointed Studio. It is heavily based on the classic Sega arcade game Pengo with it's addictive block sliding gameplay, cute graphics and a wonderful soundtrack that can even be downloaded separately.
The game has been made available for free in two varieties, for the GBA and DS, from the creators website along with the soundtrack CD. Now we will give you an update on the game by the coders themselves.

Anyway, no more secrecy is needed because our beloved coder Sverx had just completed the port of Waimanu DS for the Gameboy Advance! Hooray! And what a port... basically the whole game and all its features have been squeezed to fit the small power capacity of the gba, with only minor mandatory distinctions such as lower screen resolution and audio quality.
As usual, the game needs a gba flash cart to run (we tested the game with both SuperCard and M3 and it works perfectly) and is available to download for FREE (links below). So, what else? We hope you like the game and in case you love it, just drop us a line or two, we'll appreciate that.

Pretty cool. It reminds me of Pengo in its gameplay.

If you download it and try it out it would be cool to hear a review, looks right up my street!

I plan to.Â
Wow thats uber cool.. Want to have a play on that..
I don't know whether I'll be able to play this on my DS with the flashcart I have. I need to check. If not, I'll be playing only the GBA version.
I've just been playing the GBA version of this game and it is fantastic fun! It's just like Pengo but it introduces new elements to the gameplay.
