My name is Rob but mostly online I am known as MaximumRD (Google it if you have nothing better to do it's kinda scary) OK now the boring story you have likely heard a million times. I am a 45 year old really into Classic Gaming/Computing. A have a ok collection I guess though no where near what some of you have and what I would like but sadly the reality of my current living situation means instead of adding items if anything I need to trim it down. Well, what I mean to say is I need to seriously streamline the collection, out with the duplicates and items collecting dust, I have always considered myself a GAMER than a collector, the collecting bit just seemed to take over at some point due to my gaming passion lol.
My intent was always to just collect huge lot's and sell trade the unwanted stuff but oh my, seems I never got around to the selling trading much :3:
Welcome to RVGÂ :24:

Welcome to RVG! Evilbay is certainly a place where many of us go to get retro stuff nowadays! Take a look around and you'll find lots of talk about retro games in here. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.Â

MST3K - The Final Sacrifice: The Canada Song (//http)
LOL I'm glad you were the one to post that! LOL
Us Canadians can laugh at ourselves. In actual fact it is beautiful here, my small city Kelowna in particular is far from what many might consider a typical Canadian city weather wise being extremely warm yet dry summers, cool nights and very light (in comparison to larger surrounding cities) Winters. Here is some info:

Scroll down under the Quick facts section of this site and see we are much different than sterotypical thoughts on Canada:

So in general, when I see parodies or jokes that all Canadians say "Eh" eat back bacon, Drink Beer, live in Igloos and take the dogsled to commute I just laugh. honestly, I rarely END A SENTENCE "Eh", I DO NOT say ABOOT instead of ABOUT but I admit I DO love Beer as my avatar suggests (we have some great ones here lot's of variety and STRONG) but I don't drink light tasteless Beer I prefer always trying something new, LOVE imports Beers, Ale's, Stouts, Steam beers etc. Strong and flavourful not watered down boring piss water (though some might argue that is what it all is lol) as well a nice strong full bodied Wine like a Cabernet Sauvignon is always welcome.Â

See there I go, rambling on and on.........well that's me in a nutshell.
As I told our other Canadian member, I love Canadian Ice Wine. Not an easy thing to find where I live (South Florida).
ICE WINE is wonderful, though being diabetic I try not to over indulge, fortunately being a desert wine it is not much of a problem. When we moved here the first few months we checked out a lot of surrounding Wineries, as it turns out the OKANAGAN region here is pretty much like the NAPA VALLEY of Canada! A nice bonus.

Oh, very nice!
I was first introduced to Ice Wine by a friend I was visiting in Toronto. I was immediately snatched by it!Â
I love ice wine too, but it is bloody expensive here, a half bottle is about £15!
When I used to run my wine shop I bought a bottle every now and again as the 40% discount I got really helped!

It is not cheap here either! Never mind that it is nearly impossible to find! So, when I do find it, I pay for it.Â

Welcome aboard. Can I ask how you found us?
Just by Googling all things retro and classic gaming, it is pretty much my only interests I pursue in my spare time. Been into Videogaming since before the 2600, seen forums come and go (dammit some good ones I enjoyed too!) sooner or later I seem to stumble onto all the relevant ones.
