There are a few people who have done their own versions with the permission of the original guy, some even use his graphics like the OutRun video I posted recently.

Played the C64 version to death back in the day, superb and easily the winner here.
CPC version looks colourful enough but playing window far too small.
Speccy? plus points are the large, detailed spriters, but B+W and rubbish sound? no thank you...
I like matey boy's video style, but mate, drop the Speak'n' Spell voice over, it got on my swede after few mins.Just talk normally....
