Best deal i bagged was a Atari Lynx, in a case and 11 games for £10 on a Sunday market.
I got a Colecovision, in box, never used with Donkey Kong cartridge pack in and about 15 random unboxed carts for $30 about 3 years ago at a garage sale.
i found a ZX Spectrum, around 150 cassettes (some boxed, some not, some copies) and one of the adaptors (its in the attic right now) in a skip outside a charity shop. so free!
and i got a NTSC N64 and Psone with 10 games each from anotehr charity shop for a pound! (had to buy a transformer for them though)
12 Atari 2600 games for $10 ($0.99 each buy 5 get 6th free) I'd like to go back and get more, I also saw a turbografx-16 (aka PC engine) in box (not new) with I think 6 games for $100 I didn't get it because I had no idea what they were worth, and next time I went there it was gone
Wow, i would have grabbed that PC Engine..

Thats an amazing dealÂ

Lynxes usually go for £30 upwards on their own on eBay!!!!!!
Was a while ago now.. to many want top prices these days.
A while back now I bagged about 30 odd Megadrive games from a retro store in Hitchin that was closing down. Paid £1 each for the boxed games and 50p each for the loose ones!Â
the craziest thing I ever got was a C64 and 70 games at a carboot years back. It started to rain like mad and the guy basically said 'just take it' - I think I gave him a quid or something - he clearly wanted rid of it. All worked fine, but have since passed it on to a friend due to lack of space. Don't know why I don't carboot more - something to get into in 2012
Pretty chuffed at just picking up Dungeons & Dragons for the Saturn for under half what it usually goes for on eBay. I watched one recently go for £120Â
Great stuff.. I noticed you grabbed that..
Don't have to lead to connect up my Amiga, but I picked this up a couple of hours ago for £3 at a car boot sale.
