:o :'(
That looks very nice!
Fantastic news.
hang on where is the news? I read a page about the game but it was just talking about the games production ending... am I being blind/dumb? That's not beyond the realms of possibility btw lol
Yeah I never looked at the link until now. Nothing on there I can see about it being found.
I guess you somehow missed this bit then:
QuoteSome of my prebuilt COF files do work to some extent in VirtualJaguar 2.1.0, but not everything works properly. A few just show a black screen. Audio is quite broken. I'll make these tests available soon, in case it helps with emulator bugfixes etc. When I get some time I will try to build the latest version (a test level with hand-placed AIs) as a COF to see if it is worth uploading.
COF files are the native file format the Jaguar uses, here he is talking about trying them via emulation to see if they work. Then he mentions creating a build of the latest version he has to see if its complete enough to release.
oh ok, I guess I just figured that all that info as I read it was from quite a while ago, there's nothing that indicates that its a recent development though I guess I could've missed a date or something somewhere, I'm guessing he's hoping someone with more jag knowledge will be able to make something out of what hes got, which will be good

He posted the info, with a link, on another forum yesterday! That is how I found out the news
aaah cool, the screenshots look good
Here are the 2 videos of the game in action from before it was lost:

looks awesome, like a modern version of Granada with wicked graphics for the jag
that actually looks pretty sweet
That looks fantastic. I really hope this does get completed and sees release.Â
Looks like a promising future for the Jaguar...
Loving the look of this game. WANT!
Looks awesome. Gutting to think a game if that obvious quality got binned.
Wow interesting news!
Hope to see this released someday, in the vids it looks like it was almost completed. I love the 3D background.
yeah I noticed the perspective on the buildings as they moved by change it looked very cool, would love to get a hold of a few levels
Kinda reminds me of the first 2 Grand Theft Auto games - they also used 3D polygon backgrounds with 2D rendered sprites on top.
New video!

Very cool! Really hope to see this finished some day.
Looks awesome indeed.
Can't say I'm too impressed with that...the above view isnt the best and that level looked pretty boring, i know its a demo, but the video was making me nauseous!
The perspective does seem to hide things you need to shoot and not being able to shoot up and down doesn't help.
I does look nice but seems like it was far from complete.
Doubt it'll be finished, but you never know...
source exists still in the original programmers hands.
That's unfortunate that it chances are it won't get finished. But, as you say, we never know what'll happen.
Well, its possible Carl could pick it up and finish if DML wants to let him do so, but something makes me think that the original programmer handing over source to a game they started but never completed a vision on and having someone else finish it might not sit well. I know if it were my project i would want it to be finished the way i had envisioned it originally. Its possible DML might be at a point where he doesnt care soo much about it anymore.
