OK, so let's start a new topic to continue the "Evolution of..." line of threads.  This time let's look at Golf and let's start with the venerable Atari 2600...

As is always the case with the 2600, later releases of sports games are remarkably different from the early versions.  My Golf looks fantastic and plays much better as well.

You put "Minature Gold"  :3:

Are we including Crazy Golf games in this too then as well as proper golf games?

My Golf is an incredible achievement for the 2600 and an excellent game to boot, a far cry from the awful Atari game!

I think we can include any golf game.  It should keep things interesting.  :21:

Is Ninja Golf a golf game? Is it a beat 'em up? Who cares when a game that that good, possibly the most wacky concept for a game ever but a game that is worth owning a 7800 for.

Mean 18 is also an incredibly good golf title for the machine and a game that really doesn't get enough love.

On the Lynx I am just going to ignore the unfinished buggy mess that is Krazy Ace and talk about Awesome Golf. Not only is this a great Lynx game but in my opinion this is one of the best golf games ever made. Everything about it is just "awesome" from the digitised speech to the 3 varied courses. It really is a must have game for golf fans.

Ninja Golf is a rather unique game.  I guess it's a Golf Beat'em up!  I agree about Mean 18.  It is an excellent game.

On the Lynx Krazy Ace is just a game to have if you want a complete set of Lynx games.  It's unfortunate it is as buggy as it is.  Awesome Golf did earn its name.  :)

OK, not a final version of the game, but I thought it was worth posting it here.  This is a demo of Jack Nicklaus Cyber Golf for the Atari Jaguar.
