Not to be confused with the Amiga or Famicom games that were actually released.  Here's all Wikipedia has on this:

Thanks for sharing this.  Akira and Project A-ko were my formal introduction to anime.  It looks like they chose the wandering beat-em-up motif for this?  THQ wasn't the most heartening name in the states.

ROM Hacking has an english patch for the famicom game.  I quickly got lost in the menu options and fell asleep.  My loss :)
