It would have been a very different machine had Nintendo got hold of it, lots of shit platformers and RPG's probably.

We certainly never would have got all those fantastic arcade conversions.

I'm sure it would have been Mario this, Mario that and just about every platformer they could develop!  I much prefer the current Lynx library.

I disagree, as much as Nintendo aren't my favourite company, at least they would have marketed it better than Atari did, sure it would have had loads of shitty platformers and RPGs, but with hyperthetical better sales it would have had better 3rd party support like the Gameboy, so yes it would have had loads of arcade ports as well...

Not so sure. Pretty much all the "arcade games" on both the NES and Gameboy are totally different to the original coin-ops and suck because of it.

Yeah but the NES and GB were shite hardware wise, the Lynx as we know was more than capable, so I think there was a better chance at least, of course we shall never know!

Pretty much yes, it was made as a sound demo and bloody amazing quality it is too.

This is a full 3D enviroment with texture mapped walls and a decent frame rate too, certainly shows just how powerful the Lynx is.

The Lynx version of Xybots is very impressive but has fixed movement and no textures.
