I think this one will appeal more to specific people that remember playing the original, over someone that hasn't. If that makes sense? lol. I can't wait myself :D

Those familiar with the original game(s) will love to know an Atari STe version is in development. Perhaps even with a tweak to those unforgiving moments - when you turn around only to annoyingly fall off a ledge! Coming 2017.... :-)

Then again, there are so many. Black Lamp is another which I personally feel has always had some of the best sprites. So gorgeous! lol. I also looooove Zynaps, SWIV and Alien World. Strangely all are on AtariCrypt too (plug plug plug .. sorry lol)

I agree. I bought Laserball also. Awesome game, just awesome. It would be nice to see another go down this route... I'd sent him some messages anyhow, so who knows!

Thanks guys, I'll let u all know more when I do :)
There's even a new feature that we've just been talking about today. Bonus is a cracking developer, he's coming up with some superb ideas. Only hope it doesn't push back the release date too much!

Cheers for the logo comment mate. All my own doing in photoshop, didn't use a logo generator. Honest guv.

BeGEMed is a bejewelled clone for the Atari STe and a demo was released at STNICCC 2015. I've been lucky enough to beta test newer releases since then and I've posted on AtariCrypt a quick video... There are even more improvements to come and a release is due "soon". This is a fantastic dollop of homebrew retro gaming and I'm really looking forward to the public release :)

I did ask for a Falcon donor in the article linked above. Sadly, nobody has so far come forward... sigh

I thought this was rather incredible - a 256 colour version of Knight Lore for the Atari Falcon.
However, it wasn't too great on my old iMac using Hatari. Stuttery sounds fx! Thankfully, a Falcon owning mate said it plays just dandy on the real (stock) Falcon hardware. But real h/w always beats emulation imho.

Hope there are some Falcon users here that will find this as fascinating as I did :-)
