Can't say enough good things about this game. From the soundtrack to the visuals, it's a masterpiece imho.
Nothing like tearing through a near-open world destroying almost everything in sight.

Hacked Sega CD game #45; Stellar Fire

I don't know how this was even released let alone called a game. I guess in some circles it's appreciated but it looks in an early alpha stage to me. Was fun listening to the cool soundtrack through the 6 very long levels. Not that the levels were particularly hard or complex, just the travel time between goals on each. Wow.

Hacked Sega CD game #46; Radical Rex

Played through this a zillion times at work today testing hacks. Great platformer and I found the fire breathing and its upgrades to be a nice twist. Developed a sick obsession for collecting every egg on each stage and while time consuming, it was a fun challenge.

Even though it wasn't completely finished on the Sega CD, this beta is pretty close. Found you can't continue as it crashes when attempted but the one level demo below has that part fully functional. Not a lot of fun but it's based on a Van Damme movie so I'm gonna play it..... and like it :p

Found this game to be a lot of fun. Reminded me of DOOM/Quake right away. Great game and in my top 10 for the system now

i'm using HxD Hex Editor, i try to apply these modifications to keio flying squadron; the game opens fine in kega fusion, but none of these cheats work. i guess i must be doing something wrong; could anybody pass over a tutorial on how to use the HxD Hex Editor to do this correctly?

I clicked File-Open in HxD and navigated to the .bin file and double clicked it.
Once open, for Infinite Lives, I clicked Search-Replace
Change the Datatype field: at the bottom of the dialog box to Hex-values.
In the Search for: field I paste: 00385378F856
In the Replace with: field I paste: 001453786002
Click Replace all.. button
After a few seconds with the Replacing.. dialog box onscreen another "Information" dialog box pops up saying: Replaced 11 occurrences of "00385378F856"

Then I quick save using the Save icon at the upper bar and it says: Creating Backup..." for a few seconds.

Open the game in Fusion and it works like a charm.

Did the same for Invulnerability and it worked as well. Hope this helps.

Also, the 'Invulnerability' won't start until after your character is hit once. So, she'll actually die the first time then re-start blinking and can't be hit afterward.

Stood there whacking the sh*t out of the first enemy I saw trying to kill him and his life bar never moved. I gave up with the cheat after a while..

Tried to hack in Invincibility a few years ago and it made everyone invincible.
Stood there whacking the sh*t out of the first enemy I saw trying to kill him and his life bar never moved. I gave up with the cheat after a while..

Happened once to me with Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. Entered a cheat that made you invincible, or 99999 health, can't remember exactly. Worked fine, until I encountered these huge tree monsters, which were drawing health from you, like always 10% or something like that, and as you always had very high health, it healed itself every time with 9999 HP, making it impossible to beat.
