TBH it makes me very angry to see such blatant extortion. There are enthusiasts out there with no idea where to look outside of eBay and such listings leaves one cold. If I won the euro lottery, I'd roll out a national education programme called something like FUeBay with T-shirts and the works ;)

OK, so I saw someone trying to get a NES game priced.  The title of the game is Challenge of the Dragon.  Since I like dragons and the image of the box they posted had a dragon on it, I decided to take a look at the game on YouTube.  Well, it is a POS unlicensed game based on all the reviews I saw.  So, can someone explain this price tag?!?!?  Challenge of the Dragon on Ebay (//http)

Although the seller has invited offers and there are a couple of games that fetch fairly high prices, I'm not 100% convinced that the buy it now price should be so high especially since the two more expensive games (Death and Return of Superman and TMNT: Hyperstone Heist) are missing manuals.

Well about four months ago I bought a bundle of 100 Speccy games off e-Bay for £27 including postage which was a good deal but even so, I normally have only had to pay about that price for bundles of the size that he is selling. And with better games to be honest.

I don't know. If you take out the CD player, Pro controller, and Rayman game, the rest is pretty common stuff and not overly expensive. Not the greatest condition either. I would think the value isn't much more than what it's at right now but maybe I'm not up on the current prices. Interested to see what it goes for!

Okay, I'm calling BS on this one.

I have a repro copy of the dumped version of this and I would bet this is the same, despite what the seller claims.

If this was legit, why would they have used a different sized board than normal and cut open a cartridge shell to put it in? This game was in development very late in the 32X life, long after the boards and chips for 32X games had been finalized. This looks like something somebody threw together to try and fool people.

Any experts around here that can chime in?

Like I said, I have a repro copy of the dumped version of this, and from what I've read it was the last build before they scrapped the game. It looks pretty good but there isn't anything to do in the game but walk around one area and look at stuff. You can't do anything else.

Sure if this is legit you are buying a very rare prototype but that's a lot of money just to say you have it!
