You really know how to introduce new games here! Excellent presentation :)

The game is quite hard but quite addictive too, it got the second position in the compo. This time the conversion was not the most precise, as the author took some freedom to change certain details of the game, some of them, like the graphics, were vastly improved. Worth a try!

Quote from: "zapiy"Yeah but making them work here broadens their market.

Indeed, I contacted him several months ago and asked if that would be posible, but he told me that at that momento it wasnt...

Quote from: "zapiy"Yeah, is there a real reason why thats not the case? Pal Versions?

I think the main reason is that Piko is based on the USA, so they produce NTSC versions :)

Hello everyone!

Last year I organised a compo about converting spanish Coin ops to the ZX Spectrum. The compo finished in March, with 4 participants and some very entertaining games, but now the second edition of the compo has been announced, and the deadline is until 28th December 2014. And this time, not only Spanish coin ops can ve converted, but also 16bit Spanish games are also eligible. You can check the rules and more in the entry of the compo here:

If anyone is interested, or has any doubts, let me know :)

Hi everyone!

Im a retro fan, who specially plays things for the ZX Spectrum, SNES and Game Boy and a little bit of PSX.
I usually hang around World of Spectrum and some other Spanish forums about retro computers (specially Spectrum related).

I also have a blog, about... the ZX Spectrum!  :)

There was even a revamped version of the game, using the NIRVANA engine, with multicolour graphics (for the ZX Spectrum), quite nice, with even a physical release in cassette (and unusual, as it used a VHS tape box!).
The game is a fine puzzle, wich entertains quite a bit! I managed to complete it in easy level, but hard levels are really tough!
If you want to download the multicolour version, here it is:

In general this game is rather impressive, from the colourful graphics to the speed of them moving on screen, the amount of levels, and variety of situations. And I think there will be soon a physical release in cassette so all the Spectrum lovers will be able to enjoy it in real machines. A game which could have been easily released by Ocean back in the 80s...
