Let's Compare: Alien Syndrome

Seen as I just bought the Wii version of this I thought it would be cool to look at the original versions:

Had this on the C64, never got very far, as was bloody hard. (mind you, finding same of the game now i've unlocked it on PS3 Sega MD collection!).

C64 version looks to be the best 8 Bit Micro version, Speccy having usual 'splitty-splat' sound fx.

Game Gear version? sprites look way too big, what's on there?.

Nes:ok...but 8 Bit console wise, MS version wins easily.

Anyone recal the clone by Special FX on 8/16 Bit's, 'Gutz'? got average reviews, but i found it enjoyable enough.

I believe its the same as the Wii version, which by coincidence I got in the post today and was playing this afternoon. My initial impressions are that its pretty good, especially for the £4 I paid for it. If you like Gauntlet style games then it is well worth picking up.

I just ordered the PSP version from Amazon for all of $5 and free shipping!  :)
