I took a plain Atari 2600 Junior with scratched cover. Removed the cover and cleaned the housing.

Then I painted the console in gray (see attached picture).

I designed a restricted cover according to the design rules of the Atari XE system. Gray background, white text. On the left side a silver 3D Atari Logo (currently in preparation) followed by Atari in red letters. As the systems having those on the left side the power led will move to the right side. It will be green similar to XEGS power led.

The housing itself is nearly complete. Next step is to drill the hole on the plastic cover for the green LED and add the silver 3D Atari logo on the left side. The PCB's are ordered for all prototypes so after arrival the system is ready for assembly. 

The boxes for the consoles will arrive on friday. I will create an unique cover for the boxes. Inlay will be standard one similar to the value line and wood edition.]]></content:encoded>
