nah I had a cash problem with my account the other day and it didn't ship til today but they reckon I will have it tomorrow so fingers crossed! Its actually getting rave reviews and apparently its the best game of the Xbox 360 era according to some reviewers. I can't wait to complete the campaign and dive into multiplayer as well!

Nice Halo Collection!!!! I miss the old Xbox cases. That or the words - only Xbox. Takes me back to the old days of gaming. When there were more exclusives per system. I like that blue DreamCast. You can take the dc out of Ultrapro but he will still the sneak the system into his Halo videos. lol

That was awful about the Halo 3 case. I did not know about the books. It should not have surprised me. Great way to expand beyond the system.

I did and sorry I sounded like a mother hen. My father fell off a ladder and broke four ribs. One rib was broke twice. That was a few days before I saw your video. I was in protection mode when watching. Guess I could not take someone else getting hurt.

My dad did puncture a lung but it thank the good Lord was low enough that he should be fine.

So yeah we started playing Halo 4 last night after we gave up on the shit-ness that is Black Ops 2 (it is a nice game but currently the on-line is broken) and decided to start Halo 4 and honestly, truly and without exaggeration, its probably the greatest game I've ever played.

Before you read the above and judge me just remember this is my opinion. I've played tonnes of current gen and retro games and I've never seen anything so incredibly well paced or made in all my life. The action is intense and very well done, 343 have really pulled out all the stops and made Halo something new and slightly different while still keeping it "HALO" at its core. Its truly amazing to see this game running, it doesn't look like a 360 game

the CGI rendered stuff in Halo 4 is UNPARALLELED as far as I am concerned and the in game models are incredible. One of the complaints about all the bungie halos since 1 is that the character model detail would load after scenes began to play so for a few split seconds you would see ugly flat textures until the detail had time to load. Its so incredibly refreshing to see a game like this I don't think I will ever look at COD the same way again

This has ended up on my Xmas list so I have to wait a few more weeks to get my hands on it.

Been with Halo from the start (but only play the SP campain side), 1st probably my most played Xbox game (and picked up the remake on 360), hated Halo 2 as Bungie put out a fake 9 min E3 demo, followed by MS ad.campain making out you'd be fighting to save earth, when you barely spent anytime there, Halo 3, whilst not being quite what i expected, visually was pretty damn good, bought ODST, but it really should have stayed as an exp.pack, loved Halo Wars (crying shame MS closed studio soon as game was done) and loved Reach, but....

Think i'm all done with Halo, been a fantastic ride and sure with the talent 343 have and the sheer amount of resources MS threw at it, Halo 4 is THE best looking game on 360, but it's (from what i've read), doing nothing to take the series anywhere new really, playing it safe as it were.

Personally little dissapointed, was looking forward to seeing what a new developer would do with the franchise.

REALLY? You've read that it hasn't done anything new to the Halo franchise? How about freshening up the multiplayer? How about completely changing the feel of control and weapons, how about a darker more serious approach to the covenant making them seem like a threat rather than gibbering monkeys to trounce, how about spartan ops, the first time I have EVER seen regular, awesome DLC given away free, let alone EVERY WEEK!!

Then theres the fact that the game is incredibly well written and paced and it finally looks as incredible as it feels!

I agree that the games have been a little hit and miss over the years but personally I loved all of them, I just felt a bit jaded with Halo 3 and Reach. I've just been playing this online and started the spartan ops and I can already feel so many tiny but awesome tweaks and additions. The new human and covenant weapons are awesome and then theres the Promethean weapons, they are nuts!! online now has classes, load outs, you can call in support items, you get kill streak rewards... the list goes on

Seriously I can't say I've been this psyched over a Halo game in years

anyway I'm not trying to brow beat you for not being particularly wowed by it yet, its fair enough mate, I just find it hard to believe you've read anything but shining reviews about this game, I literally can't fault it so far
