What happens when coder GASEGA68K wants to create a Mode 7 demo for the Sega Genesis/MD? Sonic Team Racing is what happens! This game demonstrates just how far the Sega's system can be pushed, even if there is only one level right now. It is, after all, a demo. The one track available is based on the Green Hill Zone, a track that is a nice fit within the Sonic the Hedgehog universe.
Though there is a binary available for download, it may not work with all Flashcarts since they do not support word-wide in SRAM. The Mega Everdrive may be an exception, though, as the game has been tested using it.
