I'm not sure why they made this film but here is the preview...

Yeah, I don't really get it either. If it comes to Netflix I might watch it.

That is so cool.  8) Being a big Rampage fan this looks great. Reminds me of being a kid again and watching old Godzilla movies.

They have the arcade machines at FreePlay Florida this weekend.  I'll be enjoying that!  :)

Turns out that Brian Colin, the designer if the arcade Rampage, is at Florida Free Play.  He had the chance to be on set and he says we are going to like the movie.  He was surprised with what he got to see.  He also said that it was The Rock who saved the movie as the project to make it had stopped  Apparently, Dwayne loved this game so much he skipped school just to play Rampage!  Brian admitted he was quite skeptical about the movie also but that going to see the filming (he shows up in a cameo) changed his mind.  Let's hope he is right.

If that's the case let's support this movie. Love movie stars that are gamers and they apparently do stuff like this.

Not that I don't appreciate the Rock's passion for film making, but I have somewhat low expectations for the film. The game itself was obviously inspired by movies like King Kong and Godzilla and I believe the movie will have some difficulty making the concept seem original. I do like that they're drawing some emotional connection between the Rock and George. The Rock is always a strong lead actor and this type of movie is tailor-made for him. My worry is that Hollywood will ruin this film with the usual landscape of annoying CGI effects that accompany modern action movies. I'm definitely interested in the film, and it comes out on my wife's birthday, but I'll probably wait to hear more about it.
