Marvel on Netflix
« on: September 15, 2017, 20:25:09 PM »
I think there's a couple of individual threads about these TV shows but I figured I'd start a new one to discuss all of them.

I decided it was time to start watching all of these shows. I watched season one of Daredevil when it first came out but that was as far as I got. I've now watched season two of DD and I just finished up season one of Jessica Jones. It's cool they're all connected and I'm really enjoying them. I'm going to start Luke Cage this weekend.

Anybody else watching these?

If anyone is just starting out, the correct order to watch them in is below.

Daredevil S1
Jessica Jones
Daredevil S2
Luke Cage
Iron Fist
The Defenders

There's new seasons of all of them coming and new shows too including The Punisher which I'm really looking forward to.

I wonder what will happen with these since Disney is pulling all new Marvel and Disney content from Netflix.  They may be pulling all of it, for all I know.

Not sure how that will work. These are made by Netflix so maybe they're a separate deal?

Who knows?  I guess we'll find out eventually.  It seems Disney is trying to do the same things as CBS and create their own streaming service and that's why this is happening.

Well, I finished up Iron Fist last night so all I have left is the Defenders. It's only 8 episodes long so I'll fly through that this weekend and I'll be ready to watch The Punisher when it debuts next week.

I really enjoyed both Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, and the first few episodes of Iron Fist but then it really went off the rails. Turns out the critics were right about that one, it really isn't very good. Hopefully they get some new writers in for season two if they continue with it.

I haven't caught up with these.  There aren't enough hours to watch everything I want to watch!
