A question to all members.
« on: July 21, 2014, 19:02:04 PM »
Would you like the boards re-ordered?
Maybe you prefer to talk more about one kind of system and go to that section more often.

Maybe you like it the way it is now- please complete the poll so we know!

any ideas about this, please post them.

The only thing I can think of is a Programming section per console.  *shrugs*

You can put that in the graphics sound and programming section. the genesis programming thread is great.

I don't have a problem with the way it is now, so that's how I voted  :)

I voted for the first one..because I believe that doing in this fashion will allow people with a single interest in that platform, find it both easy to navigate quicker and allow them to focus on pacific elements of each machine.

it will be a tough start out to manage it all together etc., but when it's complete you'll find it very handy in the long run.

I am easy eitherway.. I do see having the systems split as making navigation much easier and it could stop some brilliant threads being lost.

So 50/50 do a trial section for. Month and then gauge people's opinions then?

That's okay with me,  it's easy to undo if its not popular.

Ok, my two penneth worth. I think rearranging the boards is ok but, a trial may provide you with better feedback.

Any business must reinvent itself to stay current and interesting and this maxim supports the above statement. However, too much change and you risk alienating some members because change is never easy.

For me personally, I find forums difficult to navigate and take a little time to get used to so I kind of go with leaving it all as it is. That said, the background changes recently introduced were excellent as they do not impact upon navigation but provide a little personalisation.

Either way, I support you guys because this is a great site!
