Great stuff, how does this tie in with the current animated series?

It shouldn't.  The "current" series was canceled (dumb decision, if you ask me) and this new series takes place between episodes III and IV.  The Clone Wars took pace between II and III.  So, I expect a totally new cast of characters with the exception of some key players.

Cool!!!!!

Boba Fett and Han Solo might be old enough to appear. Han would probably be at the Imperial Academy some time. Bossk and IG-88 would be nice additions.

Maybe someday a Shadows of the Empire series will take off  :(

From what I see does look good! :113:
The narrative voice is quiet annoying!

I think Chopper will be an amusing character from the way they describe him.  :)

Nice teasers!  Looking forward to this.  I hope this is handled better than other shows that got cancelled for no apparent reason.

the disney"sation" started on Star Wars. Poccahontas meets Star Wars was my first impression. The typcial characters and drawing of a Disney Production which tries to copy original characters from episode 4. A new R2D2 clone, a young boy (o man that's a really tribute to children) which is the hero and outperforms any adults. The "inquisator" replaces "Darth Vader" as the bad boy.

Ok here it gets ugly in my opinion and has nothing to do with star wars anymore except the theme and music. Living in a universe between episode 2 and 3 with different characters is not a good story. If they tell another story prior to episode 1 then it might be ok but it seems the audience for this series are only children between 7-15. The lego universe serves the age 3-7, where as the clone wars series addressed 7-15 and may be older generations due to it's "star wars" title. But clone wars got borring over time and reviving characters like Darth Maul and the planed ressurection of the emperor was too much finally.

That is a common thought among fans I have talked with, Disney will make the Star Wars Universe kid friendly and alienate the whole fan base in the process.

Dude. No. If anybody made Star Wars kid friendly, it certainly didn't start with Disney. Hang on a second, I've got something to show you.

This came out around Episode I.

THIS came out around Episode 3. Disney can be blamed for a great many things, but let's keep it to stuff that they did. :P

Ahem. That said, though, I'm actually really looking forward to this. That's more because Greg Weisman's doing the writing on it, and pretty much every cartoon he writes on ends up being great. Not sure if any of you have seen Disney's Gargoyles back in the day, but that's generally what I know him best for. Thing is, I never ended up seeing Clone Wars, but just the fact that he's working on this means I'll probably try to catch this as soon as it's on.

...Oh, just a warning, for you guys who aren't familiar with his work: Don't count on this to get more than two seasons. :/ The guy's kind of cursed.
