I think the Spectrum version (which is the same as the MSX, Amstrad CPC and Atari ST) wins this one for me.

The Master System version is terrible, the C64 version is pretty crap too and the Game Gear version is pretty average.

I like the POKEY version on the Atari 8-bit but the Speccy is more authentic for me.

I also like the Spectrum the best.  I do like both the Atari 8-bit and the Game Gear (even though it is simplified).  The C54 is gawd awful!!!  The Master System is down there too.
