New Intellivision Homebrew - The Minstrel's Legend
« on: January 15, 2017, 19:55:57 PM »
A new Intellivision game developer, Intv Prime, is currently working on a new title for the console called The Minstrel's Legend.  The game is a one-player “sword and sorcery” open world role-playing video game. It is set in an Earth-like planet in fantasy medieval times. The object is for a small group of adventurers to renew the imprisonment of the demon Xcitticx by playing a magical song; the song is written on parchment that was torn into thirds – one piece is in an overrun fort, another in an abandoned mine, and the last is in Xcitticx’s temple itself. If they cannot succeed in a few days, the demon will escape and the game will be lost.

You can learn more about the game at the official Intv Prime web page.  There you'll find a game's backstory and details on the game mechanics.

It sure does.  I think it's fascinating to see a new developer for the Intellivision also.  Looks like they've really thought this game out and I have to wonder what else they'll whip up!
