The vast majority of people agree that most games based on movies are terrible. However there are a few good ones out there and earlier on I was trying to think about some and it brought back some memories.

So here are some of my favourite games based on movies:

Arcade: Star Wars, Indiana Jones: Temple Of Doom, Empire Strikes Back, Terminator 2, Robocop
Spectrum: Platoon, Robocop, Cobra, Batman, The Great Escape
Atari 2600: Ghostbusters, Pigs In Space, Empire Strikes Back, M.A.S.H, Buck Rodgers
Megadrive: Dick Tracy, Terminator 2, Alien 3, Rambo 3, Batman
Atari ST: Hudson Hawk, Batman, Robocop 3, Predator, The Adams Family
Mega CD: The Terminator, Batman Returns, Hook, Cliffhanger, Dracula
Atari Lynx: Batman Returns, Dracula, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, Alien Vs. Predator
Saturn: Alien Trilogy, Die Hard: Arcade, Batman Forever, Casper, Die Hard Trilogy
Jaguar: Dragon: Bruce Lee Story, White Men Can't Jump, Alien Vs. Predator, Highlander

Not saying much, I am actually trying to think of another Bond game that is any good.

Gremlins also appeared on:

2600 (differs to 5200 ver.i think).

Gremlins:Unleashed on GB.

There's a TEXT adventure on BBC, C64, Speccy etc (Gremlins:The Adventure).

Gremlins 2 had good few differing versions:

The New Batch on Nes/GB, differs from the ST/C64/CPC/DOS+Speccy game and there's another take again, on DOS only.

The Spy Who Loved Me on ST/Amiga was pretty good as well.

C64 version rather rubbish though.

There is a 2600 version of Gremlins but it is nothing like the 5200 version.  Totally different games.  :)
