Does anyone remember a Saturday cartoon called Fat Albert?  Well, if you do, you'll remember that Albert loved to eat plenty and now a hack of the 2600 game Fast Food is being worked on that replaces sprites to create a game based on the cartoon.  The game is being worked on by neotokeo2001 & ieposta over at Atari Age.  Looks like this will be available as a boxed release at some point.  Here is an image of the food items that have been changed in the game and a video of the game.

It's great how much went into recreating that hack.  Voices, cleaning up the sprites, character specific items.
And all the Who's down in Whoville will cry
"OH $#IT!"

TrekMD

Indeed! The AtariVox stuff is cool to listen to also.  It makes the game even better hearing key character phrases.

Here's a picture of the cart.  Unfortrunatley, there is a problem with the speech causing the game to crash on a real cartridge that is going to delay the release.

Nice looking cart and a neat idea for a hack.
