I hadn't heard of this game either so I looked up a video of it.  Looks very good!  I wonder why it was never exported from Japan.

That's a great question. Seems to me they'd have done whatever it took to increase sales of this addon back then. Not to mention all the cool games we missed out on over here. Maybe they didn't want to spend the money to translate them? Seems like an incredible waste to me. Playing them today is better than never I guess.

I suppose the cost of translating the games was not "worth it" to them at the time.  Unfotunate because we missed on several excellent games.

Another Japanese title that's on the Genesis too I believe. A little slow with the progress and Boss battles are extremely difficult as well as often. These hacks should make it playable though... for about 10 minutes

Here are great hacks for a pretty terrible game. Bad acting, gameplay, dialog. Most of what makes a game good lol. The visuals are interesting, like, once. If you play through it 782 times like I did testing these hacks, not so much. It's on rails so you can't even move forward at a decent or accelerated pace. One of the types of games that did the Sega CD proud :p.
I wonder what the developers were thinking when they were creating this? Like, "Man, this is AWESOME! This is the future of gaming right here. " Then it's released, sales bottom out and they're left scratching their collective heads.
Not to mention the poor schmucks who got this for their birthday or Christmas.

Pull up a chair and grab some popcorn to watch as I blast my way through this masterpiece with full weapons, shields and plenty of bombs to prevent those darn aliens from attacking Earth. (and if you haven't played this game but are contemplating it, just watch 30 seconds of the video and save yourself some heartache lol)

BC Racers is a lot of fun. I have the game for the 3DO and it came out for the 32X too but I think the Sega CD version is probably the best.

Found this game while searching around a bit. Had never heard of it and was fun at first but became redundant fast. Still a cool game with some kind of comic book. There's a selection to watch interviews w/ the people who created the character so I guess they thought it was going to be a hit lol.

Found this game while searching around and it seems like a fun platformer. Reminds me a lot of Rayman. Haven't played all the way through but found several hacks to make it a bit easier. I'll update the post if I stumble across anything else

This is one huge game! I played through all 62 levels at work today and can't believe how good this is. Don't know why it didn't have a huge impact, or if it did, I was unaware of it. The main character is kinda crappy I think. A kid with a blank look on his face and soccer mom haircut lol. On the cover it looks like a wild man with some crazy hair but in-game it's completely different. Maybe that had something to do with it bombing.
Anyway, if you haven't played this and want to take on a helluva cool challenge I'd highly recommend this

Took Star Blade for a spin and found it to be quite fun. Another on-rails space sim without a lot of choice in what happens-plus a weak laser and no upgrades or missiles leaves it as uninspiring, at best. Still, playing like I'm at the arcade w/ the sound blaring & Fusion in full screen can't be beat
The hacks below give it more replay valuable for me than the original disk.
