[size=140]The Super Nintendo version of 2048 has been made by prolific Nintendo homebrewer Alek Maul using his special PVSneslib, an SDK coded in C especially for developing Super Nintendo games. The library ships with examples and a compiler, it is based on snes-sdk. It features some heavily improved graphics and sound compared to the original flash version. It can be downloaded for free from his website to use with real hardware, via a flash cartridge, or with an emulator. You can check out Alek's website HERE!

The big deal from my point of view is the active use of C and PVSneslib.  I really think higher level languages grow the developer base.  The SNES scene sure needs more action :)
