[size=140]Pixel have released a fantastic new game for the VIC-20 called Pulse. The game is a fast shoot em up with smooth scrolling and will run on an unexpanded Commodore VIC-20. The game is inspired by the classic 1985 arcade game Gradius from Konami.

You can get the source code for the game over at Github. There's also a video of the thing on real hardware; thanks, Mike! Pulse is also being discussed in length in the official thread at VIC-20 Denial forum. Robert Hurst has set up the Pulse highscore table.[/size]
