Insecticide - New Nintendo Virtual Boy Homebrew

Insecticide is Chris "atari2600land" Read's second project for Virtual Boy. A fighting game, only using insects instead of people. He is still very busy updating the ROM, it's now 8 Megabits, and working on the finer elements of the gameplay. It's easy to kill a bug, but how about when you're a bug yourself? Strap yourself into a bug's shoes (wait, bugs don't wear shoes, but you know what I mean) and fight to the death. Are you strong enough to perform insecticide?

You can see full profiles of all the characters in the game and read more information on the title over at atari2600land website. Chris has also been kind enough to provide a free playable demo of the game and the code for free for use with real hardware, via a flash cartridge, or an emulator. We look forward to seeing how this title progresses.

I am always interested to hear about new games and on top of that, to see some love being spread to systems like the Virtual Boy..

Brilliant stuff.
