Anyone painted a keyboard? Coloured Keys!
« on: May 10, 2014, 14:04:41 PM »
I have just used up some left over paint from other projects for my FIGnition PS/2 keyboard.

I think some BBC and Amstrad cpc fans would benefit from Green and Red keys!

Unless they are color blind!  They won't be able to tell them apart.  :)

Going to the final frontier, gaming...

Thanks Guys

I love the coloured keys, my Amstrad notepad has some, and I wish the Amstrad sinclair had the key colours from the CPC range.

but the cassette bolted to the side is hideous

the initial thread picture shows a keyboard without any label on it! painting works much better if using a transparent color, so labels are still on it and key is colored!

Else you need new labels which must be put on top of each key, then repainted with transparent coating. Result may not look very good as you must adjust position to look professional.

Maybe pro users don't go for marked keys? :16:

Also the computer I am using this for does not use the blank black keys, so they are superfluous to this modification.
