For most people it's too much money for sure, but for hardcore Neo Geo fans this is actually pretty cheap. They're a bit crazy!

They had a really good first day but since then there's only been a couple new pledges. They're going to have to really get the word out.

Retro News & Chat / Project Neon - New Neo Geo Game on Kickstarter

Well you don't see this very often, a brand new Neo Geo game is being made! It's a littel pricey but compared to what other homebrew games on the system go for, it's not too bad. My only concern is that it's really early in development and there's no way to know how it's going to turn out. They are asking for a lot of money and a lot of faith.

Quote from comments:

The state of the artwork and presentation is not representative of the final product. The footage shown is from an early prototype, with just a handful of first gfx sprites and animations created, many of them not fully finished or implemented. The general style will stay like this tho, so we're not going to switch to 3d pre-rendered sprites or something. But be assured that we're going to sweat a fair of more details on things.

I'm not sure what my best score is but if I manage to get good one I'll post it. I bought a Saturn steering wheel a while ago so this will give me an excuse to use it more. :)

I got the Japanese version a little while ago but I haven't tried it yet. Looks like I should. :)

I did see it, and it's very cool. There's also a TV adapter being made to go along with this.

Too expensive for me though. If I got one I would want all the add-ons. They haven't said how much the TV out box or the other console adapters are but the base unit is $200 alone so I can just imagine what the total would be!

Meet Amicoâ„¢ - LED Disc Ring...

The cost of this system is their biggest problem, and these controllers have to be a big part of it. They look cool and I'm sure they will do lots of neat things but who cares if nobody buys it. Keep the controllers basic and get the price down.

Yeah, all of the cartridges for this are multi game collections. Not bad for under $20 each.

New cartridge revealed today.

I'm not a huge Double Dragon fan, but the rest of the games on this would be cool to have.

That's pretty cool, good price too.

Just in time for Halloween. :)
