Title: The History of Tapper
Post by: TrekMD on September 13, 2018, 00:08:42 AM
Here is a video by PatmanQC looking at the history of the arcade game Tapper!  Did you know there are 3 different versions of this game?

I just remember it being a very stressful game, thus a chore to play, with the looping tune playing over and over. I never managed to play this game more than 10 minutes in a row.

Nice Bud cabinet though.

I think what makes this game so unique is the control mechanism as it doesn't have traditional joysticks.

This was a great little video, but never mentions the Atari 8-bit version which was one if the best home computer conversions?

The audio does have some issues with that video.  It's not just you.
