Top 10 game lists are always a topic of discussion since these are based on taste; nonetheless, it is always interesting to see these lists to talk about them and the game choices.  So, I have watched some videos by WatchMojo and I thought this was interesting enough to share.  So, here is the first video looking at their top 10 arcade games of the 1970s...

Were there even more than 10 games in the 70s? I doubt. Difficult to chose the top 10, in my opinion, the games were all quite bad at that time so that it doesn't really need a top 10. Galaxian is the only one that I would put on this list, don't like this vector crap anyway, plus Galaxian came out end of 1979, so close to the 80s.

The 80s are clearly the golden arcade years.

Those games may not have been stellar but they are the ones that got things started and Galaxian was certainly the one that became a literal game-changer!  It clearly shows an evolution for video games. 

As for the 80's...that video will be coming. 

Great, have I already mentioned that MAME is still my favorite emulation, using it since version 0.32, meantime we're at 0.201, which came out 2 days ago.

Seems like the 1970's did not generate much interest, so here is the next video of the group looking at a decade that was, without a doubt, the biggest one for video games...the 1980's.

Ok, so the guy making the video never went to the arcades AND doesn't know that MAME exists. It's even difficult to make a top 100, as there so many good ones, but just choosing the most popular as best, not my opinion, at all.

The 70s list has some good choices but there are plenty missing that should be there:

Night Driver - early 3D racer
Gran Trak - Super Sprint overhead style game
Sheriff - excellent early 2D shooter from Nintendo - plays like a simplified Robotron
Avalanche - arcade version of Kaboom!
Space War - 2 player combat in space - far better than Computer Space
Boot Hill - one on one cowboy shoot out combat game

Night Driver was a cool game in the 70's.  Some of those other ones you've listed, I've not heard of.  That's cool.

Yeah, I’m kind of with DeadVoivod on this. The 70’s and 80’s were heavily dominated by the arcades although, home gaming came into its own in the 80’s. However, home consoles and computers were trying to bring home the arcade because that is where the great games were born. The videos are interesting but there is so much choice, especially in the 80’s that such comparisons are never going to please everyone. The fact that Crystal Castles doesn’t get a mention clearly shows the naivety of these videos. But as I said, they are fun.

It's impossible to generate a list that everyone is going to like but I think it's an interesting way to generate discussion.  Like you said, Crystal Castles isn't even mentioned but with so many games out there, I can see people missing it and many others when the list has to be so short.
