I remember owning that bloody awful, especialy when you compare it to the other 8-bits, Spectrum version when I was young.

Track & Field was actually meant to be a 7800 launch game and was supposedly finished but nobody knows what happened to it.

The 2600 version is quite impressive.  It even came with its own special controller. 

I was thinking this would make for a great 7800 game.  It's too bad that the game was finished but never released!  I wonder if it would have used the same controller as the 2600 version.

That is too bad about the 7800. I have played the arcade but do not remember playing any others. The C64 looked really well done. Never played the Nes version but I do have Track and Field II for that system.
